We would like to welcome and introduce our new Principal to Crystal Lawns, Ms. Kristen Salgado. Ms. Salgado most recently served for 11 years as an Assistant Principal and has spent her entire career - 28 years - in District 202.
Before becoming an Assistant Principal, she taught third, fourth, and fifth grades and was a student teacher at Crystal Lawns for one semester. She is looking forward to helping students and staff grow while honoring the traditions of the Crystal Lawns community.
“The staff at Crystal Lawns are dedicated and passionate educators who positively impact the lives of their students and families, and I am honored to have the opportunity to partner with them,” Salgado said.

Tru Green will be spraying weeds at all District 202 buildings on Tuesday, July 1, Wednesday, July 2, and Thursday, July 3.
The 2024/2025 Crystal Lawns Math Tournament between staff and students was a ton of fun. Our staff trounced the student team with a winning score of 15-6. Thank you to our Math Specialists and 5th grade team for putting it together!!!
